My name is Jessica and I am a wife, mother, and educator in the Piney Woods of East Texas. My husband, son and I enjoy all the amazing wonders of the state – from the gulf coast beaches to the beauty of the Hill Country; days at the lake in the summer, to enjoying the slower pace of life around the fire in the winter! Before finding my calling as an educator, I was an event planner for two major companies in the Dallas metro, providing once-in-a-lifetime experiences including trips to iconic sporting events like NCAA and professional championships, music awards and luxurious all-inclusive trips to destinations around the world.  My love for details and organization comes through in all that I do!

My favorite travel adventures include those that I make with my family. Visiting Disney Theme Parks is a personal favorite that started at a young age as I grew up in Southern California. Disneyland holds many family memories that still make me smile and laugh. Later, my husband pulled off an epic surprise by proposing in the Rose Garden in front of Cinderella's Castle almost 20 years ago, and will always hold a special place in my heart. And now, I share those memories with my son as we travel to the parks as often as we can. And don't worry - my thrill-seeking son LOVES roller coasters and Harry Potter adventures so Universal Studios is also a favorite. There is never enough Butterbeer!
